Powder getaway, Ål Skiresort!

Today I realized how lucky I am to be snowboarding for a lifestyle. I woke up when my family went off to work and school, had a quick breakfast and then I drove 10 minutes to my local resort, Svarteberg (Ål Skisenter). This is where I´ve spent my days as a younger kid riding powder and crazy runs in the woods.

The lift was not running, and I was trying to get out of the parking lot (which was a struggle because of all the snow). While driving away, I saw a couple of workers up in the cafe. I decided to ask them whats up.

I put on my boots with heated soles (That´s a winner on days like this), and brought my Nitro Rook board with me. Then they opened the lift only for me and this one lady, and we had the slopes all by ourselves the whole day. Svarteberg got one of the steepest slopes in Norway and I never get bored of powder-riding up here! Thanks a lot for letting me play today.

Working out in Oslo, X-games is coming up shortly!

This week I´ve been in Oslo, working out and getting some help with my injury, the goal is a quicker than normal recovery! It feels a lot better now, I might actually go riding tomorrow!

Sitting at home  thinking about riding when you can´t, sucks. Can´t wait to get back, learn new tricks and ride X-Games! I just got the invite a week ago, and I jumped through the roof. That was probably the best gift of them all. Slopestyle and Big Air, it´s gonna be a lot of fun.

On norwegian television they just showed a couple of minutes with me and how I’m getting back from the injury, thanks Morten Røkeberg at NRK for a great show!

Hopefully I´ll be able to land this trick when I get back on snow? 😉

Fractured collarbone

Happy new year! I’ve been lazy for a month now and thought I should start blogging again. At Dew Tour I got injured and fractured my collarbone. So here I am, sitting at home doing nothing!

Qualifiers for SWEET RUMBLE today

Im sitting in my hotel right now chillin and waiting for the jump to open. They are gonna open it later today, and then we will have some practice on it too, should be a lot of fun! Yesterday we were having two sessions which was really good, I did some bs 1260’s, and it felt good.. Here is a couple of photos from yesterday shot by Olav Stubberud

Pleasure Jam at Dachstein

After being injured a week, I got back on my board this weekend thanks to awesome help from a couple of physio´s. The TTR 4 star event Pleasure Jam went down in Austria and I was there to try and do my best. In the finals I did a cab 5, a doublecork bs 10, and a double bs rodeo. Due to a serious handdrag, I got 5th place. Elias Elhardt won, and my friend Tor Lundstrom from Sweden got 3rd, well done!
